3 Magic Breaths (How I Stay CALM During the Holiday Season

Holidays can be busy and even overwhelming. We can feel pulled in many directions as more responsibilities are added to our already full plates.

This time of year can bring up emotions and baggage from the past. Some us have lost love ones we deeply miss; while others of us won’t be able to spend time with the ones we love due to distance or finances.

Others of us will spend time with family members that we disagree with politically, socially and spiritually. We may find ourselves in rooms with people we have unresolved baggage or issues with - which can pull us out of our center.

Whatever the case may be, the most important thing you can do is to keep yourself in balance. This act of discipline is an act of self care and self love.

…And it is something only you can do for yourself.

Yoga reminds us that when we are in a state of inner peace we can face the situations of our life with more tolerance, clarity, calm and ease.
